What's on your feminist to-do list?

This month, we’re introducing our new executive director Jamia Wilson and her bold vision for the future of Feminist Press.

Dear Friend,

The Feminist Press is stepping up to confront the political and cultural challenges of our time, because now more than ever, the world needs books that offer resources for social change. Here’s what you can expect from our press in 2018 and beyond.

  • We publish books that inspire readers to action. Across a range of genres and styles, our titles act as tools for gender justice. They help readers think criticallyspeak uplisten deeplyorganizeteachprotest, and more. (Not to mention, they’re pretty fantastic reads.)
  • We're on a mission to diversify feminist publishing. FP invests in emerging writers whose voices aren’t being heard elsewhere. In an industry notorious for exclusive gatekeeping, we recruit and support a diverse community of authors.
  • We're movement-building. We’re proud to participate in an intersectional, intergenerational, global feminist movement. Through our books, our programming, and our partnerships, we’re working to build a more just future for everyone.

We've got a lot to do—but with your help, we can get there.

In honor of our 47th anniversary, give $47, $470, $1047, or any amount to help us put our plans into action.

Cheers for a new year,

The Feminist Press Team
